About Our Rescue Group
Established in 1976, the Long Beach Humane Society is a non-profit, non-salaried, volunteer organization, independent of political constraints and geographic boundaries.
We exist for the humane treatment of our most unfortunate and neglected animals and orphans from the City of Long Beach and surrounding area.
Some of our work includes: The rescue, care, medical needs and adoption of the unwanted or homeless kittens and cats in our care / Foster care program for orphaned kitties and those with special needs / Feral Cat feeding program/TNR.
