Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue
About Our Rescue Group
Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue is a dedicated group of volunteers who are commited to saving stray, abandoned, neglected, and surrendered dogs. We are all veterans to the world of animal rescue, but have come together to begin our own endeavor. We are foster based, meaning we do not have a shelter. We do this because we love dogs and they need us!
Come Meet our Pets
We typically show every Saturday from 1-3 p.m. (please see our website for exact location details). We often have other special events that are listed on our website. Potential adopters can also schedule meetings with the foster parents.
Our Adoption Process
We utilize an application process because we have worked hard at nurturing and working with the animals in our care. In order to ensure that these formerly abandoned, neglected and abused animals never find themselves in the shelter/rescue system again, we screen applicants so that the applicant is matched to an animal that is suited to the applicant's lifestyle.
It is our job at Waggin’ Tails not only to find new homes for our animals but to ensure these animals never have an opportunity to breed again. All of Waggin’ Tails dogs will be spayend/neutered at the time of adoption unless the dog is not of age and/or the dog has a medical condition that would prohibit sterilization at the time of adoption. Dogs under 6 months of age and dogs that cannot be sterlilized due to a medical condition will be adopted out on a spay/neuter contract which means the adopter must agree to have the dog sterilized by a specified date.
Adoption Fees
Sterilized Adult Dogs: $175
Puppies (under 6 months): $200 + $50 refundable Spay/Neuter Deposit
What Does the Adoption Fee Include?
The adoption fees above cover all age-appropriate vaccines; heartworm/fecal test; spay/neuter (unless otherwise stated); and microchipping. When necessary, the dogs have blood panels, dentals, and professional grooming as well. In other words, we do everything necessary for the dog when they come into our care.
