We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties: Ten to twelve million pets are euthanized in the United States every year – over 27,000 every single day. In 2001 alone, 112,197 stray and unwanted animals were taken in by shelters in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties – over 70,000 of these animals were put to death. This number has increased by over 25% since 1990. South Florida’s euthanasia rate for pets is higher than Chicago or Los Angeles and three times higher than New York City. Does America’s predilection to being a “throw-away” society extend to our precious dogs and cats? It seems like it does and this trend seems to be getting worse every year. Its time for us to face our responsibilities and do something about it.

About Our Rescue Group
***WE ARE IN NEED OF FOSTER HOMES***IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO OPEN YOUR HOME AND HELP IN SAVING A LIFE***WE PROVIDE EVERYTHING---FOOD, CRATE, FRONTLINE, HEARTGARD***PLEASE CONTACT US FOR MORE INFORMATION*** Chesed Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of unwanted animals. “Chesed” indirectly translated means “loving kindness”. Acts qualify as “chesed” when they are motivated by a spirit of generosity, not obligation. Understanding the need for us to face our responsibilities and to work on behalf of those who have no voice and cannot help themselves, Chesed Foundation was created in the name of kindness and compassion towards helpless animals, without expecting anything in return. Chesed, unofficially started over ten years ago, is a non-profit organization, predominantly dedicated to matching unwanted dogs and cats with new owners. Through Chesed’s free “Match-a-Pet” program, not only have many animals been spared the horror of shelters and euthanasia, but their human companions have enjoyed the myriad of pleasures involved with adopting and loving a devoted and lifelong friend. Chesed is also dedicated to helping pet owners through crisis situations which otherwise would have led them to surrender their pets, thereby adding to the ever-increasing pet overpopulation. In addition to our adoption and education programs, we manage a “Crisis” fund aimed to assist monetarily in whatever way we can. This fund helps with bills associated with pets’ medical and training needs, helping those less fortunate or those on a fixed income to cope with the ever-increasing cost of pet ownership, and veterinary and boarding bills, among many others related expenses.
