About Our Rescue Group
CANIS RECOVERY is a non-profit group of volunteers dedicated to saving wolfdogs and other exceptional large breed dogs from HIGH KILL shelters, as well as abused, neglected, or abandoned homes. We strongly believe in the need to control pet population and urge you to adopt a shelter animal instead of buying from a puppy mill "supporter" pet store. 25% OF SHELTER DOGS ARE PUREBRED!!!!!!

Our Adoption Process
An application as well as a Home Check is necessary for all potential adopters.
Once your application has been approved a Pet Adoption Agreement is required.
Our adoption fees are usually between $65- $115 and are due upon signing of Pet Adoption Agreement.
Dog adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog and you'll have a friend for life! Please consider a rescue pet before you buy a dog from a breeder or pet store. Contact us, or contact another local humane society, animal shelter or SPCA. |
