Hoke County Animal Shelter
About Our Shelter
We are a County facility who tries to find good homes for dogs and cats who are dropped off by their owners, or brought in by Animal Control. These are animals who deserve a second chance ! For many....Shelter life is the best treatment these furkids have gotten!!!! Won't you please help us show these loving animals that there is a FOREVER home out there waiting just for them?!
Come Meet our Pets
We are open at the shelter from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday through Friday. We are open by appointment for approved adoptions ONLY on Saturday. We are closed on Sunday. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to call the shelter.....We look forward to hearing from you!!
Our Adoption Process
We do have an adoption process that includes an adoption application, vetchecks on previous owned animals. We try to find the best compatible homes for our furkids!!!! After application approval, the adoption fee is $90.00 and that includes (age permitting) spay /neuter, heartworm or feline aids/leukemia testing, deworming, rabies shot, 1st booster shot, and microchip.
