About Our Rescue Group
We work with the Pinecrest Police to save dogs from homelessness or car injuries on the streets and to prevent them from going to Miami Dade Animal Services, which kills about 65 animals daily and 2300 animals each month. We also maintain, with the police dispatchers assistance, a lost and found dog log in Pinecrest (a suburb of Miami). Finally, we educate residents about the importance of spay and neuter to reduce pet overpopulation, the importance of never buying a dog from a pet store, and about the importance of microchipping and keeping an identification tag on the dog at all times.
