About Our Rescue Group
Herding Dog Rescue of Kentucky was formed out of the love I have for this type of dog. These dogs are often purchased to be family companions and stay at home. While these dogs make GREAT family pets, they need to have a "job" and be an active part of the family.
Our Adoption Process
Our adoption process is fairly simple. All adopters must fill out an application and have it approved before they can actually meet the dog. Once there is an approved application, the adopter may meet the dogs we have for adoption. If all goes well there is a $150 adoption fee and an adoption contract. All adoptions include spay/neuter, dhlpp, rabies, bordetella, microchip, and an obedeince course from Richling K-9 Training, Inc.
