Boston Buddies is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing Boston Terriers who are abandoned, neglected or abused and placing them in permanent, loving homes. Our ultimate purpose is to match homeless or potentially homeless Boston Terriers with loving, permanent families specifically interested in the breed. We do not have a brick and mortar kennel facility. Instead, we provide our rescue dogs with temporary foster care in private homes located throughout Southern California where we can assess their personality and preferences. All of our dogs are examined by a vet and provided all necessary medical treatment, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and put on heartworm preventative. Boston Buddies adopts its dogs to loving and caring homes located in Southern California. We do not place our dogs in homes with children under the age of six. The first step in adopting a Boston Buddy is to submit an Adoption Application which can be downloaded at our website, www.bostonbuddies.org. After a home visit with one of our volunteers and approval of the Application we will arrange meetings with dogs that will be compatible with the approved adopter. An Adoption Application and Adoption Fee is required, as well as follow up visits.
